The story

Silence became the cage I lived in. For far too long, I carried the weight of being overlooked. Where the world heard nothing, I found a canvas where I could finally paint my truth. eMmiyo isn't just my name. She's the sound of me breaking free. I didn't simply find my voice — I gave a roar to everyone who's ever been overlooked.

Welcome home.

Hey y'all ✨

Howdy Gang!! Welcome to my fancy palace.

I'm eMmiyo. Like the letters you know — M.E.O? Get it, lol.

I Luv Me Some Y'all. 🕊️

The promise

eMmiyo was born out of late-night writing sessions — the kind you start just to put the pain somewhere.

Before my mother passed, she left me with words that would change my life forever: "Acknowledge your shine… and finally think about you, eMmi."

Those words became more than advice. They became a promise. Every song I write is me keeping that promise.

Southern roots, city streets

I'm a Southern girl with country roots who found her voice in church as a child. Life took me on a detour — college, modeling, massage therapy, bartending, and being a mommy.

Eventually that journey led me to the wild streets of Los Angeles, with nothing but a vision, unwavering faith, and a car seat filled with donated toys.

The vibe

Edgy Hippie meets Holistic Siren. 💅🏾

I'm the girly you'll find running uninhibited through the woods at sunset, enjoying nature's medicine. You'll catch me handcrafting my own organic vegan coffee soaps, scrubs and body oils to cleanse under the waterfalls — because our skin deserves to be as grounded as our minds.

I love God immensely and find my peace at the base of His creations. At the same time, I believe being a sex symbol and a spiritual being can coexist seamlessly — as long as the intentions are pure, and the vibes are unfiltered.

The journey

My story isn't just about the stage. It's about resilience, submission, and evolution.

Growing up in foster care as an orphan taught me how to build my own foundation whenever the ground felt shaky. The music, the poetry, this whole eMmiyo experience — it's really my reclamation.

It's for the parentless children, the lonely, the small-town dreamers, the overlooked, and anyone who has ever had to turn grief and sorrow into a masterpiece.

Her heartbeat

When my mother passed, she became the heartbeat of my music.

She loved my story. She bragged about it to other people. That made me feel significant.

So I'm not just singing for me. I'm singing for her — and for every soul who needs a sanctuary to land in.

The momentum

We officially took over The Woods in Hollywood on June 25th, and we brought that same energy to our gathering on the Indie Stage at the Santa Monica Promenade for the World Cup.

(Aww yeah baby, ya girl is officially city-sanctioned now. Let's go ⚽️🔥)

What's next

My newest singles "U Da Focus," "Plenty," "Bite BACC," and "Hate Da Haters" are out now.

HoneyMoon Phaze is set to drop soon — and the full debut EP, I Used To Write Poetry, is loading for August 2026. 💿

Before you go

I hope you leave here remembering one thing.

You are the focus.

Not in a selfish way. In the way that reminds you your dreams matter. Your healing matters. Your peace matters. Your story matters.

So keep showing up for yourself. Keep believing. Keep growing. And never apologize for becoming the person you were created to be.

I Luv Me Some You. 🕊️✨
